Shelby Hanson Salmon, M.D.

Dr. Salmon completed her anesthesiology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, and then served as assistant clinical professor on staff at Yale. During this time, she was also the Chairman for the Temple Surgery Center Physician Review Committee.

A Richardson native, she was pleased to move back home closer to friends and family when she joined Metropolitan Anesthesia Consultants in 2006. She currently serves as Chairman of the Recruiting Committee and as a member of the Marketing Committee and Peer Review Committee.

Dr. Salmon is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Texas Society of Anesthesiologists and Dallas County Anesthesia Society. She serves on the Professional Activities Committee at Medical Center of Lewisville, as well. Dr. Salmon is Chief of Anesthesia at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano.
