The USC Alumni Association and the USC Alumni Club of North Texas, will be hosting an exclusive event for members of the Trojan family. The event, “An Executive Evening in Dallas: Industry Trends and Career Opportunities”, will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Park City Club from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. This exclusive Trojan event will feature a very distinguished panel of professionals from major corporations and successful entrepreneurs including: John Clendening ’85, MBA ’92 – Siemens’ Sr. VP of Marketing Communications, Carmen Nava ’84 – AT&T’s Sr. VP of U-Verse Process Improvements, & Al Zapanta ’66, MPA ’73 – U.S. – Mexico Chamber of Commerce’s President and CEO.
Also, speaking amongst the professional panel is Metro’s very own President and USC Alum, Dr. Norman S. Rice. Dr. Rice completed his Anesthesiology residency and served as Chief Administrative Resident for USC University Hospital. While at USC, Dr. Rice received the Guidel Award; the University’s highest academic award. He stayed on as faculty at USC as a specialist in cardio-thoracic anesthesia before entering private practice in 1995.
Dr. Rice and his fellow USC Alumni speakers will be providing insight and answering questions about their chosen careers and industries. Metro is proud to have our President as part of this distinguished panel.
